Girl Scout Troop Formed at FCWCS

Fannie C. Williams is now the home base for one of the city’s newest Girl Scout Troops–Troop 41296.

Our troop is off to an impressive start with 20 girls, in grades 1-4. Troop Leaders are Deidra Barnett, Shoran Warren, Crystal Petit, and Linda Ducros. Juliette Gordon Low established the scouting organization for girls in 1912, in Savannah, Georgia. The U. S. Congress chartered them on March 16, 1950. Fannie C. Williams Charter School has joined the scouting movement for girls during the 2013-2014 school year.

There are more than 3.2 million girls and leaders belonging to this organization in 2013.
