Our annual February Black History Program highlighted the arts, entrepreneurship and sports.
“Guest” appearances included our own versions of Trombone Shorty, Aretha Franklin, Cedric the Entertainer, Oprah Winfrey, Simone Biles, Barack and Michelle Obama, Misty Copeland, to name a few.
Each “guest” was accompanied by a short bio–why we acknowledge or celebrate the individual. Middle School students, under the direction of Dean Daigle and Ms. T. Batiste, were featured. Vocal music teacher, Ms. S. Jordan assisted our “Voices” in their vocal presentations.
Great way to cap off our month-long celebration!
