Pierre the Pelican and his assistants visited Warrior Land on January 23rd to conduct two sessions of his Jr. Training Camp. More than 200 students, in grades 3 through 8, took part in the two-hour long sessions.
The importance of keep fit and working hard in the classroom was stressed to our scholar/athlete. Students who listened attentively were able to win prizes–coveted team gear! Of course, every scholar/athlete was awarded a bright red Pelican t-shirt.
